Confirm the SKU string exactly - leading zeros, trailing spaces and case all matter.

Run an 'All Listings' report and diff your feed's SKU column against it.

If the SKU really is new, submit it with a full product-upload feed (update_delete = Update on a full template) before sending price/quantity updates.

If the SKU was deleted, note that deletion is not instant - wait for processing to finish before re-creating it.
